ryan Capistrano (also known at The Zone as “Boitano”…don’t ask) has been lucky enough to surround his life with music. He’s the Music Director/Assistant Program Director of The Zone @ 91-3 (91.3 FM in Victoria) and he’s also the resident DJ of the station, co-hosting and DJ’ing a live mix show every Friday at 5PM called The Modern Rock Mixtape.
Being with The Zone has afforded Bryan with many other opportunities outside of the radio station. He’s been able to DJ up and down this island including Mt. Washington, Rock The Shores, Rifflandia and is certainly no stranger to V.I.C. Fest! He is also the producer of the official soundtrack to the Canada Day Fireworks show at Victoria’s Inner Harbour. Expect a blend of rock mashups, hip hop and a little funk when Boitano hits the stage.
